The Denninger's family got their start in meat processing in the Black Forest region of Germany, where Rudolf Denninger made his living as a master sausage maker until moving his family to Canada in 1953.
The Denninger's 60,000 square-foot Hamilton manufacturing plant houses all the butchering, smoking, cooking, chilling, packaging and shipping of our products to the company-owned shops on a daily basis. Each store receives a daily delivery of freshly-made products, backed up with the strictest quality and freshness. All of our products are made from ingredients sourced directly from the best Ontario farms, most of them local.
We hold to the highest standards of quality control assurance and food safety. Our facility is AAA rated, the best rating possible from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
Our deli counter is famous all over the region for its quality products and traditional selection. We've been giving a free slice of our popular Lyoner-style bologna out to every child who comes up to our deli counter for years, and we always will. It is quality and tradition that keep our customers coming back.
