The journey starts at Denninger's with our reputation for sourcing the freshest and best local Ontario farmers that we form longstanding relationships with. We are proud members of Home Grown Ontario, an initiative to purchase local meats from local producers. This allows us to oversee the quality of all of the meats entering our stores and ensure that you, our customers, are served nothing but the best from our counters.

Once you've tasted our gourmet aged steaks from our meat counter or the perfectly sliced roast beef from our deli, you'll want to make Denninger's your family's go-to source for meats. Our beef consists of select Angus, Charolais, and Limousins home-grown Canadian cattle, of which only the top 10% are selected for inclusion in our inventory. 90% of Denninger's beef is sourced from Amish/Mennonite communities where the cattle are grain-fed naturally and raised without antibiotics or hormones.
Our beef is cut and aged for a minimum of 21 days to allow natural enzymes to tenderize the meat in our carefully monitored facility where temperature and humidity are constantly watched. Our butchers will carve steaks and roasts to order.

VealDenninger's only carries humanely raised 100% Canadian veal. Our milk-fed veal has an ivory pink colour, and is a lean alternative to beef or pork. Ideal for any treasured family recipe or for Wiener Schnitzel.
PorkOur fresh Ontario pork contains no hormones or antibiotics. The pork served from Denninger's counters is of the highest quality grade available and comes from pigs that are fed a healthy diet of grains and soy meal. Support your local farmers and let your family taste the huge difference between our quality pork and factory-raised pork.
Treat yourself to Denninger's locally raised White Rock and Cornish breed chicken. Tender, perfect chicken of the highest quality awaits you at the Denninger's meat counter.
Our chicken is fed a wholesome diet of grains, vitamins and nutrients with no hormones or antibiotics. They are processed using air-chilling which is a popular Western European method used to help meat retain its natural juiciness and flavour. Broiler, fryer and capon chickens are all available, dressed and butchered to your specifications.
Denninger's carries young grain-fed Ontario lamb, which is known for its delicate, mild flavour.
New Zealand Spring lamb
The unique flavour of New Zealand Spring lamb is known internationally for its deep, rich taste. Our New Zealand lamb has been raised in a free range pasture in the hill country of New Zealand on an all-natural grass diet with no hormones or steroids.
Most cuts of both types of lamb are available.

Whole TurkeyOur fresh turkeys are supplied exclusively by Hayter's Farm in Dashwood, Ontario. This family-owned small, hands-on operation has been specializing in turkey farming for over 60 years. Since the family cares about the birds, the turkeys are free to roam in spacious open-sided and well-ventilated buildings. Safety and quality control are of the highest importance on Hayter's Farm, and the rich taste of their turkeys is the final result of all of this tender care.
DuckOur duck originates from Brome Lake, Quebec where the oldest duck farm in Canada is to be found. It is fattened naturally, unlike fois gras, which produces a flavourful yet leaner meat.
