Our meat is raised locally

Our meat is raised locally, naturally and without added hormones. We age our beef for a minimum of 21 days to maximize tenderness and flavour.

You will taste the freshness of our lean Ontario pork, that is delivered to our stores daily.

We sell only humanely raised chickens, which are air-chilled to retain their natural juices and flavour with no added water.

And, our sausages are made using a traditional family recipe.

Our experienced and knowledgeable butchers will be happy to prepare custom orders, and help you select the best cuts of meat for your family. They will also give you cooking tips, meal ideas, and other useful advice.

This allows us to oversee the quality of all of the meats entering our stores and ensure that you, our customers, are served nothing but the best from our counters.

Our beef consists of select Angus, Charolais, and Limousins home selected for inclusion in our inventory. 90% of Denninger’s beef is sourced from Amish/Mennonite communities where the cattle are grain-fed naturally and raised without antibiotics or added hormones

Our beef is cut and aged for a minimum of 21 days to allow natural enzymes to tenderize the meat in our carefully monitored facility where temperature and humidity are constantly watched. Our butchers will carve steaks and

Treat yourself to Denninger’s locally raised White Rock and Cornish breed chicken. Tender, perfect chicken of the highest quality awaits you at the Denninger’s meat counter.

Our chicken is fed a wholesome diet of grains, vitamins and nutrients with no added hormones or antibiotics. They are processed using air and flavour. Broiler, fryer and capon chickens are all available, dressed and butchered to your specifications.


Denninger’s carries young grain-fed Ontario lamb, which is know for its delicate, mild flavour. Most cuts of lamb are available.

Whole Turkey

Our fresh turkeys are supplied exclusively by Hayter’s Farm in Dashwood, Ontario. This family operation has been specializing in turkey farming for over 60 years. Since the family cares about the birds, the turkeys are free to roam in spacious open importance on Hayter’s Farm, and the rich taste of their turkeys is the final result of all of this tender care.


Our duck originates from Brome Lake, Quebec where the oldest duck farm in Canada is to be found. It is fattened naturally, unlike fois gras, which produces a flavourful yet leaner meat.
