|1/3||cup||Kuehne Apple Cider Vinegar|
|5||cups||red cabbage, shredded|
|1/4||tsp||freshly ground black pepper|
Place butter into a Dutch oven or large pot. Cook cabbage for 5 minutes. Add the apple and sugar; mix well. Pour in the vinegar and water, and season with salt, pepper, clove and allspice. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until the cabbage is tender stirring occasionally, 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
